Jane Standage graduated in 2007 from Victoria University with an LLB(Hons)/BA (majoring in French and European Studies). She was awarded the Gold Medal for Academic Excellence given to the top graduating law honours student. During 2007 and 2008 Jane was Judge’s Clerk to the Honourable Justice Susan Glazebrook at the New Zealand Court of Appeal. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2007.  Jane is the co-founder of the Law in Schools Project, a voluntary programme designed to educate Year 13 students about the New Zealand legal system. 

Since commencing practice at the bar, Jane has focused on competition, public and general commercial law.
